The battle was finally lost. You are the only knight who survived - you don't know why and feel deep sadness and maybe guilt. While brooding over misfortune you recall your king's last words: "You must go on! Rescue my daughter!" and you suddenly know what to do - follow the enemies, fight them, find the princess and set her free even if it's the last thing you do!
So, you set out for a chase. Knowing the moves that chess pieces can make certainly helps but isn't necessary. Fractal Sunrise thought about players which don't know them and if you hover over your knight with a cursor you can see accessible squares (green framed). You will meet and fight enemies on your quest - white chess pieces - and their possible moves can be seen in the same way. Just hover over them and the red framed squares are the ones where they can move. You need to get into such a position to be able to capture the enemy and remove it. The game doesn't let you to walk around them. If any foe removes you the game returns to the point where you may decide differently - and you certainly will because the princess waits for you! You are the only chance of her release from capture.
It's very pleasant game - through choice of music builds atmosphere really well and deepens playing experience. Joy to play.
