TrickyAndrop Sometimes receiving a message can be so exciting that the letters seem to jump off the page. Then those letters form into a giraffe, which will dart across the landscape pursued by snakes, sharks and Godzilla. Okay, that just might be the interactive music video for Japanese rock group Andop's song "Bell".

Developed by PARTY, the video starts with typing in an 80 character message. These words will then transform into a sprinting animal (what kind depends on message length), and off it goes. The scenery it rushes through changes along with the cadence of the song, but watch out! These wordy creatures will rush head-long into all sorts of obstacles without your direction... and all those collisions could make for quite a scrambled message. At the end, a link is generated so that you may share your message with a friend, or, for Twitter users, send it directly. With an amazing combination of typographic and charcoal art, Androp's "Bell" is so visually interesting that it makes up for the CPU-hogging and somewhat loose gameplay. The song's catchy too! There are probably easier ways to post a missive, but this is definitely one of the most fun.

That was very pretty.

I absolutely loved this game. My message was a dog, and I actually got really emotionally invested in the little guy making it through.

My message was a horse! Poor thing was basically incomprehensible by the time I got there. Love the song!

I just thought of some achievements for this game!

Mixed Nuts: Get to the end with every letter changed 15 letters at min
Perfect Type: Fill all 80 characters
Thanks Monsters!: Get a letter changed back to what it was
No One Left Out: Get every animal type
E-mail:Keep your message intact until the end

Thought the song was a bit too loud. And I found myself trying to run into everything I could in an attempt to destroy the entire message. For some reason, that was more entertaining than tryi ng to preserve the message.

As per the "Concept" part of the site, the song is about taking actions based on instinct and impulse.

The official music video shows a guy sending a message to a girl, then the message is sent through this very game.

The message he enters is "明-何-てるの?", or in English, "What are you doing tomorrow?".

As the message races through the game, it gets damaged and corrupted, ending as "明-ど"かに行"うよ", which in English would be "Let's go somewhere tomorrow".

Obviously, you're not actually going to get such a result if you play the game itself, but these things fit so well together that I personally found myself enjoying the game more than I would have otherwise - it's not just a toy, but it actually supports the message.

I loved the game! It was very cute except I thought that the song sucked a little and made me a bit annoyed within the game so I only played twice. Both messages were completely mangled! :D
