Note: Medieval Cop is a series of games, with some of its own canon and lore. This episode is more standalone than the others, but you might wish to check out previous episodes as well!
Even though it's well past Christmas and we've finished saying Happy New Year, VasantJ delivers one post-holiday gift that you won't need to return!
Readers familiar with previous episodes may recall the audacious personalities of the Medieval Cop universe. The cast of characters making an appearance in this episode include burningly passionate star Dregg Morris, whose life goal is to tear down the tyranny of the Post Office, Amber who can most kindly be described as lighthearted and emotional, and Felicia who takes the expression "cart before the horse" to new heights. In addition to the classic characters, there will be some appearances by a new group of suspiciously familiar names, including "Sir Kong," "badge gremlins," and others.
In this holiday special, Felicia is hunting down a "criminal" accused of unequivocally vicious crimes, including breaking and entering. But things take an even darker turn when the mystery character is revealed to be Santa...and present at the scene of not only missing cookies, but a murder in the middle of the night! But ho ho hold on, surely Santa could not have done the unthinkable!
If you've played previous games in this series, you are probably familiar with the murder mystery detective-style that VasantJ has made its own. To summarize, naturally no one can be allowed to leave the murder scene, lest suspects or critical evidence be lost. You'll need to talk to people to gather profile information on the potential perps, and interact with clues throughout the area, sometimes using them on others to piece together clues into information. As you do so, you'll put together a complicated tale filled with jealousy, cunning, and oh did we mention, MURDER!
To navigate the game, you can click around with the mouse or with the [WASD] keys. You can also enable dash in the options menu to move around a little faster. Click on people or hotspots throughout the area to interact with them. You can also highlight a clue in the top-right of your screen and talk to someone to ask them about it, once you two have been properly acquainted. Finally, to advance dialogue you can press the [Enter] key or click. Using the key [pg down] you can scroll through quickly, but this is not recommended on your first time through as you'll miss the jokes!
