Ever feel like the work grind is never ending, and your boss is always giving you endless chores to do, running you around like some kind of robot? This game will give you a needed break, by letting you boss around little robots and making them run around doing endless chores. But its okay, because they like it! Honest. Robots Initiate Work, by Tedgaming, is a time management strategy game where each round you only have so long to complete mission objectives. Usually those consists of building more robots or gathering large amounts of product for an unknown cause, but the real goal is prioritizing right and quickly deciding on what you need and what you don't. Each level has three time goals, so plan your strategy to get the gold.
For a time management game, Robots Initiate Work is actually a bit slower paced. The tutorial takes forever for them to speak, thankfully you can play through it without waiting on instructions. The time runs out much faster than you'd like but it is not so much about hasty clicking, but more of nimble thinking. Clicking on the area you want your robots to work will send the one who finishes their current job first, or the closest nonworking robot to get started on the task. Re-clicking on the area will disengage the order (unless they are already doing the work) and they'll move on to the next selected area. Planning out the order of the duties is what will spare you time, if you do it right. Do you need extra hands (metal claws?) or need to double the amount of intake of the needed supplies? How can you avoid the evil robots and yet still be efficient? The problem is all theses questions, and more, need to be answered quickly if you want the beauty of gold on each level. So make someone else work like a dog for a change, Robots! Initiate work sequence!
A clear 5 - IF it hadn't been for the bugginess starting at about level 10.
(firefox & mac)
I'm also not sure about the
patrolling police bots you hit about level 10 that send you to jail, which you need 20 gas to get sprung from.
I didn't think that served a good function.
Stops loading at 99%. FF, old XP.
Did I overlook a save function? I seem to have lost all my progress. :(
Sorry to hear about your saves. It should save automatically after each level. I'm not sure what happen to yours. Do you have an add-in that clears your cookies after a certain amount of time?
