Get ready to point-and-click your way through puzzles with a raised eyebrow or three, because Minoto's latest has arrived. Three Bears 2 revolves around a football helmet in a locked fridge, a vapidly smiling little girl, and three bears with the most convoluted ways to perform simple tasks you've ever seen. Click around to gather objects, and then try whatever you can think to proceed. This one only has one ending and is fairly short, but if you're looking for something cute and weird, that's really all you need. If you haven't already, you can also play Three Bears, but it's not like it'll give you some context or anything. After all, the very best Minoto games are the ones where you feel like you fell down a rabbit hole and hit your head several times in the process.

I didn't like this one which is a first for me and Minoto's games. It's like he had to finish it in a hurry. Multiple inventory items just randomly appearing after a simple action... just didn't make sense.
And considering in Minoto's universe not making sense is usually a good thing, this time it felt like an imposter trying to make a Minoto game. Graphics are still adorable but I'm a little dissappointed on this one.
Minoto and Detarou in the same week?!
I don't know if I can handle this much weirdness!
On a more serious note, though, I have to concur with Dandy in regards to the "stuff popping into inventory out of nowhere." I know Minoto's games tend to be a bit silly, but at least there's usually some sense to that silliness. This one just missed the mark for me. :[
Minoto has been doing that for a while now. I think it started with A Dog in Flnaders, but I'm not sure.
At first it was just a key, than it was other items too, sometimes before you do anything at all.
But I agree, it's kind of a disappointment to get a bunch of inventory right off the bat, rather than having to hunt around for them. Strange but true.
Walkthrough
Scene 1, I'm hungry
Maybe this key is edible (this is Minoto after all).
Nope.
Maybe there's some food in the freezer?
I can't open the freezer, no matter how hard I try.
Maybe I'll try the coffin, I mean the cupboard.
I'll need the key. Hey, there's no food in here.
Moving on
Take the helmet. Go right, twice.
Scene 3, how about them apples
Football player
Obviously, the football player needs a helmet if he's to get those apples.
Biff! Bang! Powie! Oh, look! We have a golf putter and a heavy weight.
And here's some folks to help.
One of them has half a dumbbell, which will be very useful. Give him the weight to complete the dumbbell.
Oops. Too much for him. Oh, well, the other new guy can have some fun with the putter.
Ow! I mean Ooh, that was fun, yay. Give me a boost up into the tree.
Click on the little guy.
Oh look, more stuff. A rope, branch, and scissors. Excellent.
Let's be serious about those apples now.
Attach the branch to the tree. Attach the rope to the branch. Cut the rope.
Now that's the way to bump a tree and bring down the apples.
More new stuff! A beetle, an ant, and a knife! Yay!
A watermelon is way better than apples.
Cut the watermelon.
Oh, let's let the beetle eat the watermelon. Hey, that gives us a nice vessel to hold the apples. We didn't really want any watermelon anyway.
Cleanup on aisle 3
Get the ant to clean up the mess under the watermelon.
Hey, where'd everyone go?
Back to scene 1
First, stop off in scene 2 and take the apples back. Then back to scene 1.
Gosh, it's warm in here. And I've put on quite a bit of weight, from Eating Nothing!
Let's eat for real now!
First, I'll put on my bib. (Where did that come from? Same place as the fork, I guess.)
I'll need my fork, I just know there's going to be food soon.
Oh look! There's some apples on my plate.
Nom nom nom.
Aw, Minoto :( I don't know why the games have changed so much, I felt the same way about the previous one, 2011 A Fathers Travel. You either started off the game with a full inventory, or, as in this one, the items just pop in there! It practically plays through itself. I know Minoto games are totally random, but in a really weird way they did make sense. And it was more fun, and a LOT more hilarious, to figure those things out yourself! There's no challenge when the game practically slow walks you through it. This is cute, but just not as fun as they used to be.
