There's only one good reason why we haven't already wrung in the New Year, and it's not because of time or anything lame like that, it's because we haven't solved Mateusz Skutnik's latest calendar-flipping point-and-click puzzle game Where is 2014? The aim here is to literally ring in the holiday by finding out where our New Year is hiding, so just click around to gather items and solve puzzles. Chances are it won't take you very long, but hey, that just means more time to party after, and it's a cute, beautifully illustrated little point-and-clicker from the master. What's not to celebrate?
wasted a lot of effort on finding ways to go down the stairs....
There is none. You play within one scene only.
Really Cute little game :) Happy New Year Everyone
Missing a fuse.
Found it in the brick pile.
can't find
the 3rd ball
@ lorac
Have you found the
Gold Key?
If so, find something
gold to use it on
can't wait for the walkthrough :)
My first walkthrough!
It's only one scene, so that makes it easier. I'll also provide clues for the colorblind
First off: exploration!
Pick up FUSE #1 from on top of the breaker
open the silver container (the one next to the large safe and the record player) to find White Porcelain Ball (Ball #1)
Open the bottom metal cabinet on the right fpr Fuse #2
open the compartment by the stairs for Small Key
Open the box on the right for Golden (L-Shaped) Key
urn the record player's handle for Ceramic Plate
Open the small desk drawer for Yellow Porcelain Ball (Ball #2)
Click on the top three bricks to move them and reveal Fuse #3
Not to use some items
First, use the Golden (L-Shaped) Key on the golden container (the one by the alarm) to find Green Porcelain Ball (Ball #3)
Use Ceramic Plate on the large box safe to acquire Electric Handle
Use Small Key to open the breaker and use Fuses in the holes and Electric handle below them and click to pull
And finally...
...the porcelain ball puzzle located on the bottom right. The red lights will turn gren when you insert the right ball.
The order goes:
White (#1) into the upper right niche; Yellow (#2) into the upper left; then Green (#3) into the bottom
Um, I love Mateusz Skutnik, but... I don't think I wanted to find 2014. 2014 looks really scuzzy.
There aren't many things that look fantastic when they have just been born or hatched, so the little character looks about right for a newly-started year ;)
The end music was an extra bonus - being the bats' theme from The Great Attic Escape. Brilliant!
Thank you, Mateusz Skutnik.
That was way too easy.
That was cute and Skutnik'y. Only wish it was longer!
