Awww....who's the cute widdle headless zombie? You are? Why, yes you are, in Zombonarium, a super-cuddly zombie physics puzzler from Bite Lemon Games. Your zombie loses his head at the beginning and it will take you 30 levels, including a boss level, to finally keep that thing in place. Using your shovel cursor, you aim the zombie head at a key, a bone or a sticky platform and click to launch your head, all the while trying to avoid killer falls or fire traps. Friendly rotating skulls can help you along the path, and bats can help or hinder.
This is a crunchy mid-morning snack of a brai...I mean, game, and it doesn't offer a huge challenge, or a new spin on the physics genre. That being said, the slick graphics, including that humorous little zombie head, make it worth a quick play. And the physics are perfectly balanced, so you never have to guess if your hop will have the same affect, or if dropping a rolling cart will behave differently from one level to the next. It even saves your progress if one break-time play isn't enough. Need a fix of zombie cuteness? Zombonarium's gotcha covered.
Mute turns itself off between levels. Also, game tells you to AVOID the bones.
Not very playable at all.
Fun game. I'd like to see him able to jump a little further, but that's neither here nor there.
My one criticism - the achievements aren't labeled by level. If yo go back and try to get them all, you can't tell what level they're on.
Other than that, 4/5
That's just an achievement for the first level. Very poorly labeled, I'd agree, but imho, doesn't mean that the game is unplayable.
